Product & Features
Is this just a ChatGPT wrapper?
No. While we use advanced LLMs for text generation, Flowlytics is a Research Orchestration Engine. A wrapper is stateless (it forgets context). Flowlytics maintains a persistent ‘Knowledge Graph’ of your product strategy, enforcing your constraints across every analysis. It also ‘triangulates’ data by reading across multiple isolated reports to find patterns that a single chat session would miss.
Can I bring my own API key?
Absolutely. In fact, we encourage it. Entering your own Gemini API key in Settings gives you full control over rate limits and ensures your data privacy.
What happens if I update my project context?
The Context Engine is live. If you update your ‘Target Audience’ or ‘Competitors’, all future reports and insights will immediately use this new information. Existing reports remain unchanged unless you regenerate them.
Can I export my data?
Yes. You can export individual reports to Google Docs, download them as Markdown, or export your entire workspace as a JSON backup file from the Settings menu.
Billing & Plans
Do you offer a free trial for the Team plan?
No. The Solo Researcher plan is free forever. for teams to use and try some of the research methods.
Can I request a custom invoice?
Yes, for annual Team plans, we can generate custom invoices. Please contact contact@flowlytics.net
What happens to my data if I cancel?
Your data belongs to you. If you cancel a paid plan, your data remains accessible in ‘Read Only’ mode for 30 days, giving you time to export it. After that, cloud data is deleted, but local data remains on your device.
Why do i have to login to upgrade my account
While the payments are with Stripe and fully protected, asking you to log in first gives you extra protection
Security & Privacy
How is my data secured?
We operate on a local-first architecture. Your project data is stored in your browser by default. If you enable Cloud Sync, data is encrypted both in transit (TLS 1.3) and at rest (AES-256) on Google Cloud infrastructure.
Do you train AI models on my data?
No. We do not use your research data to train our models. When you use the AI features, data is sent to the API solely for the purpose of generating your response and is not retained for training.
Is Flowlytics GDPR compliant?
Yes. We minimise data collection and provide full export/delete capabilities. Our cloud infrastructure is hosted in compliant data centres.
